Future Venture Opportunities
It was difficult to try to come up with, what I hoped would be, my million dollar business venture, in just fifteen minutes. I tend to draw a blank under that kind of pressure. So I decided to focus on some of the issues I think about everyday. I came up with a couple of rough ideas.
A drug and alcohol program for children, teenagers, and young adults. This program would provide education, support, and counseling for people who either suffer themselves or are close to someone who suffers from drug and alcohol addiction. Too many young people are negatively affected by drugs and alcohol and I think there needs to be a new method of dealing with this issue. The best place to implement this plan would probably be in schools because it is more accessible there for young people and is separate from home and personal life.
A new community for senior citizens (not another old folks home or community recreation center), through which seniors can connect, socialize, and enjoy life. So many elderly people live alone or spend most of their time alone due to the death of a spouse, death of friends, and not having family close by. I believe that loneliness is as dangerous to your health as an illness. I want to create a program that allows seniors to connect with others who share similar interests and hobbies. Seniors are young at heart, just like the rest of us, and they deserve to enjoy their lives to the fullest.
