Where Will the Path Lead You?

Even if the route you are on is the latter, remember some of the most beautiful paths cannot be discovered without getting lost.

The day this photo was taken, my mindset uncertain. Struggling mentally with full capacity box, yet completely lacking fulfillment — time in the woods and on this particular path, I began to find myself (full story here).

Where will the path lead you?

We don’t always know — and that is perfectly okay.

Changing vantage points provides a refreshing, and often much needed, perspective.

When your mental health is challenged and your mind is conflicted, to let go of what is holding you back, it often takes stepping outside of your comfort zone.

That was uncoordinated me on my bike on this path… an activity that takes most of my focus to remain upright. It provided much-needed time as a full-time working mother to re-calibrate.

Self-care is about taking an active role in protecting one’s own well-being and happiness: pedaling to keep the gears turning in mind and body seems to be a good tactic for me.

So, where will the path lead you? It’s irrelevant.

Life is truly about journey.

A destination may serve as a perfect rest stop — and a great opportunity to snap a photo and take in the beauty that surrounds you.
