Conversation with the native speaker.

Last Monday I had a chance to speak with a native speaker. He came in the spring to Nizhny Novgorod from UK to learn Russian.

It was a large experience! His speech was a little strange and unusual for us, because our pronunciation was absolutely not like his, but that was my first meet with british guy, so his strange speech didn’t matter for me too much.

I learned that in Britain they drink tea with milk. Yes, before that I did not know about it and this news shocked me! The thing, that shocked me too, was that Martin has seven siblings! Damn, it’s cool, but on the other hand, seven siblings… He is a hero!

It was interesting to listen how he spoke Russian words like “ponayehavshie” or “Shaurma”.

Also, we gave him few advice how to “survive” in Russia ;) So, I guess, we did a good thing for a foreigner.

He is a very interesting person and I hope see him again!
